Oh Spring, How I Love Thee

We have a lot of azalea bushes in front of our house. Which apparently, at least this year translates to a MILLION bumble bees. Seriously. I counted at least 20 in the one set of bushes by our driveway. The ones by our front door had another at least 5 at one time. This is not cool. We also have had wasps for the past 3 springs that keep trying to build a nest in the attic. They might have succeeded. I saw one fly into the crevice right above the azalea bushes. I told Trey that we need to call an exterminator because I don't want to end up on "Billy the exterminator". Yipes!

If you look closely, you can see the bumble bee in the middle.

Final Four

My work building is proudly representing the fact that the "final four" is being played in Houston.

I love a good bargain!

Even though I so rarely find them. Which makes them that much better!

Last night I drug hubby out to Barnes & Noble to spend the gift card that I got for Christmas. Since I immediately got a Kindle for my birthday, I knew it was going to suck buying a book again, but I didn't want it to go to waste. It's not like I wouldn't read them. I've read like 6 books in 3 months.

I picked out 2 books, which I proceeded to buy. But then spotted the "nooks" and their covers. I wondered if the covers would fit my Kindle. Lucky for me I keep it in my purse at all times. (Maybe that's why my purse could double as an anchor?)

Let me just say that I've been eyeing on Amazon the Kate Spade Kindle covers. Tehy are $69.99 + shipping. I just can't bring myself to pay that for them. Even though they are discounted from the original $85, that is still a lot, even for designer. I just couldn't do it.

WELL, B&N had them on sale. For 75% off. AND THEY FIT MY KINDLE!!!!! I stewed over it through the night. And all day. I couldn't stop thinking about it. Guess where I went on my way home from work?!

A new 'do

I got a new haircut almost a month ago. Maybe it has been a month? Who knows. I can't keep my weeks straight anymore. Which is sad, considering I look at a calendar daily. Is it possible to get "old-timer's" in your late-twenties/early-thirties?
